Makeup Studio Amsterdam Review

I visited Netherlands twice!!! Every time I visited Netherlands I was impressed. I'm in love with with the people, the architectures, the infrastructures, the culture and of course the "Amsterdam" city. Oh! not to forget about their cheeses, I'm in love with Gouda cheese. Okay, here I want to talk about a makeup brand, the  Make-up Studio Amsterdam. Have you ever heard about Make-up Studio Amsterdam?

Make-up Studio Amsterdam was founded by small group of make-up specialists lead by makeup artist Wil van het Hek in Amsterdam in 1980's. Who is Wil van het Hek? He is an expert of face art and theater cosmetics in 1980's, with his knowledge he has created a makeup brand " Make-up Studio Amsterdam and he become one of the first world professional make-up artist trainer. Now, Make-up Studio Amsterdam has developed and sold in more than 50 countries.

I've been using this brand since three years ago, and I have to admit that this brand is amazing. The quality of the products is superb!!! It is highly pigmented and long lasting. Most important thing is that the products are Vegan and not tested on animal.

Completing your makeup-artist kit could be very expensive and challenging, but if you think to spend the money for great quality products it worth the investment. However, makeup and beauty industry has grown massively and there are so many makeup brands in the market, and it is difficult to choose. Here, I want to share with you one of my favorite makeup brands "Make-up Studio Amsterdam", and a few products that I personally used for my clients. 

Face

1. Fluid foundation No Transfer | 127.87 lei | Honestly, this is a great foundation that every makeup artist should have. Make-up Studio Amsterdam has a big range of colors of foundations, you name it!!! from fair to dark and dark to very dark skin color. This foundation range is available more than 30 colors. It is semi covering, but it is high in pigment to help covering all the imperfections and it feels very light on the face. Once you apply it on your face it will attach to the skin and then it can't be transferred,  the "No Transfer" effect is real. I love to use this foundation on my clients and they are very happy with how the skin feels, and it looks so natural on the skin without "mask" effect. To set the foundation I use a very small amount of setting powder and my clients they are good to go.

2. Natural Silk Perfection  Powder | 108.86  lei | This is one of my favorite translucent powders, it fixes the foundation and makes the foundation long lasting and leaves a mat finished result. The powder is super soft and silky, transparent and great for all skin colors. A little bit goes a long way, you just need a very small amount on your palm and using the powder puff apply it all over your face. It will not make white cast on the face if you take picture in the night with the flash, which is very important. The packaging is simple but eyes catching, I'm in love with the gold chrome writing on the black cap, love it and it is stunning.

3. Compact Earth Powder | 118.38 lei | This compact earth powder comes in a beautiful luxury packaging box with mirror and sponge. This compact powder can be use as a foundation or a powder. 3 in 1 compact powder sound amazing, Ideal product for all the makeup lovers to have inside the handbag.

4. Bronzing Powder Lumiere | 118.38 lei | Perfect for bronzing, I feel like bronze Goddess everytime I applied this bronzer on my face. It is a baked bronzing powder with subtly shine and it gives your a "sunkissed" effect. You can use it to contour the face and it is transparent, the gold shine pigment makes the skin look  healthier and glow from within.

Lips

1. Lips Primer | 75.58 lei | For me lipstick is just like the cherry on top of the cake, it is the last thing that you put to completed the look. It is important to make it last longer on the lips so it will not ruin the look. Before I applied the lipstick on my clients, I always make sure to apply a thin layer of lips primer, and this lips primer from Make-up Studio Amsterdam is the one that my hand reached to grab it all the time. The nude color of this lips primer makes it the ideal lips primer, because it helps the pigments from the lipstick to appear stronger and long-lasting. It doesn't make your lips dry but instead it give the lips a layer of protection.

2. Lipcolorbox 18 colors | 165.89 lei | Makeup Studio Amsterdam has so much varieties of lips color palette, it comes very handy for any makeup artist and makeup lovers. It is very high in pigments and it comes in beautiful black box with mirror.

Eyes

I can't say more about Makeup Studio Amsterdam, I am very impressed with each products they have. One last thing that I picked up from this brand is the Eyeshadow in The box | 61.32 lei | For the price, it is very pricey in my opinion. Nevertheless I've picked up few colors for trying. However, they have 200 colors to choose from. And you can also choose the eyeshadow palette, glitters and many more. They are very, very and very pigmented.


So, In my opinion Make-up Studio Amsterdam is one of the great makeup brands, if in the future you want to try a new makeup brand I suggest to give Make-up Studio Amsterdam a try. You won't regret anything and instead you are making a great investment.
